This Website can be of tremendeous help for beginning Yoga students.
The easiest way to start with Yoga, if there is no Yoga teacher available, is using a Video.

First start by the Complete Beginners Video
http://my.yoga-vidya.org/video/yoga-for-complete-beginners-1
Practice with this video for a while.
Then continue with advanced beginners
http://my.yoga-vidya.org/video/beginners-yoga-class-20-1
Afterwards you go to
http://my.yoga-vidya.org/video/yoga-for-your-back-20-minutes-1
then to
http://my.yoga-vidya.org/video/yoga-vidya-yoga-class-1
and to
http://my.yoga-vidya.org/video/yoga-class-with-affirmations-1
and finally to
http://my.yoga-vidya.org/video/yoga-class-for-chakra-1

Take 1-8 weeks (depending on your physical condition) for each of the
video. It is best to practice once a day - but you can also practice
every 2 or three days.
I wish you lots of joy in your practice.

If you have questions, please ask here in the forum

Here is the first of the Videos (you can have it in full-screen-mode, you can download it, too, on Vimeo):

Thanks yoga-vidya.org to give a wonderful opportunity to learn yoga, meditation and Pranayama.

I found morning yoga video sequence articles on popular yoga blog to learn more about yoga.

They are listed below:

  1. Yoga Journal
  2. Yoga Download
  3. Yoga Curious

I hope, This source is very helpful to learn more about yoga.

Thanks

Hey,

Thanks for sharing links and such a wonderful video here! I have checked out all the links and found them really good for beginners. Through these yoga class session you can learn a lot about yoga stuff and that too being at your home.

My experience was good when I begin with yoga. I have learnt many things from yoga teacher trainer in Goa and still I'm continued with it. Although there are many people who don't want to go out of their houses and want to do yoga from their house, but i would suggest you, it will be better if you perform yoga forms in front of yoga professionals(especially yoga beginners).

I appreciate you for your fabulous work..

Om Shanti,
Chandrashekara

I have been practicing with the Complete Beginners Yoga video for many weeks and I feel that it is the best instruction that I have come across. I am now trying to advance to some of the exercises in the Advanced Yoga video and I am finding most of them way too difficult. For eg. The Surya Namaskar with the inverted V posture and many other exercises. However There are a few exercises in that video, which I am able to do. Is there a video instruction with the level between Complete Beginner and Advanced Beginner please. I find your complete beginner video amazing and very helpful and would realy like to continue doing yoga with your instructions. Thank you.
