Mahamudra and janu shirsana

what is the difference between mahamudra (bent knee sitting forward bend) and janu shirsasana? This question was asked on our facebook page and received several answers - do you have any other advice? Shammi: In Mahamudra, we apply moolabandh, uddiyan bandh and jalandhar bandh-all three important bandhs. Hence the head is up with chin resting or closer to the jugular bone (between the collar bones). In Janusirsasana, where Janu mean knee and sir mean head, we rest head on the knee or if possible or go beyond that. Ravi: in mahamudra we sit in padmaasan and bend forward whereas in janu shirasan we sit in vajraasan and bend forward..this is what i think...correct me if i am wrong:)
