I made this shot last evening on a hill just to say "Hello!" from where I live in Berlin. In front of this photo you see the Funkturm (Radio Tower) with the exhibition halls and behind it on the left side the TV Tower from Berlin and the skyline from the Potsdamer Platz.
I made this shot on a hill. It is not a geological hill ... it is a hill with all stuff from the World War II, all scrap and junk, broken stones, through the World War II. The name of the hill is Teufelsberg ... if you like to translate it in English you can call the hill Devils Hill. The people in Berlin who are afraid of devils call it rubble mountain or mountain of rubble. It is fantastic place for romantic sunsets and you can practice Yoga there as well. Enough free space on this hill and it is also a very good place for Lojong Meditation ... the meditation practise in which you visualize and bring to your mind all suffer in the world, breath them in and clean it through your body with new fresh and clean energy. If you do not know Lojong I recommend you the book
"Start where you are" by
Pema Chödrön (in German: "Beginne wo du bist, ISBN 3-591-08374-7).
All the best and may all beings be happy! Yours Jens
