June's little nest welcomes you!

I am scheduled to undergo knee replacement surgery on June 22nd. I had been a member (OK, quite outspoken) of The Golden Age of Hollywood for about 2 years; they just banned me. I "understand" the reasons, but don't understand; does that make sense. I gave a great deal to the site, trying to bring class and excitement and fun. But many seem only to desire a constant thread of discussions on gossip about people who have been gone for many years. These people also have grandchildren left behind. That didn't seem appropriate. Oh, well, call me strange. I'm OK with that word. Are you?

Update: Thanks to an actual true online friend, I now really do understand. I get it. And what always amazes me is that something (silly and petty) happens to us, we build a huge balloon of resentment (as we have denied the silly and petty part), the sucker bursts open, and out flows all sorts of incredible blessings we never dreamed possible, leaving us very much ashamed but exceedingly grateful. Thank you, dear Sage and dear A. (may your pain ease as time moves on, and you finally remember what joy feels like.).
