Fantasy Faerytale

I am still working on my esoteric faerytale fantasy, Ifflepinn Island, which a number of non-spiritually inclined hard-nosed childrens' Literary Agents have sniffed at and summarily declined. The wonder appears to escape them. During his adventures, the Moomintroll-style hero, Iffleplum, learns many of the deep secrets of life, which thrills those on the spiritual path, but apparently turns off the worldly-minded agents. SHARING the QUEST

Dear Friends,I am delighted to say that my e-book "WORDS ON THE WAY--A Glossary of Sanskrit esoteric terms and their meanings" is now available both as a downloadable e-book and also on CD-ROM. This is a product of over forty years research and study, offering all the variable spellings you won't find in other dictionaries and many yoga secrets you may otherwise take forty years to discover. :) And getting great reviews as there is nothing else like it!Also my previous book, SHARING the…See More

Profile Information

I ...
... am a Yoga Teacher
I am an expert in the following areas:
I am a mystic and Mantra Yogi, having quietly taught Mantra and Advaita vedanta in many countries of the world over the last 40 years, with experience in Tantra-Mantra, Bija Mantra, Meditation, Yoganidra, Cosmic Consciousness, Samadhi and NDE.
My Yoga tradition/style/center, Yoga practice, Yoga Master/s, Teacher/s
Inspired by Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi, my lineage if any, is in his non-traditional approach. However, I have studied and spent time with many masters, including Maharaj Charan Singh (Radha Soami Satsang), Dr. Ramamurti Mishra (Sri Brahmananda of ICSA, N.Y.), Osho, Swami Chinmayananda, Swami Dayananda, J.Krishnamurti, Ananadamayee Ma, Dr, Nataraja Guru (Kerala), Swami Gitananda (Pondicherry), Neem Karoli Baba, Kumarswami (Shiva Lingayats, Dharwar), Pir Vilayat Khan (Sufi), Fr. Bede Griffiths (Benedictine monk), Swami Hariharananda Giri (Puri), Sri Goenkaji (Vipassana, Puri), Swami Muktananda (Ganeshpuri), Mother Krishnabhai (Ananda Ashram, kerala), Sant Keshavadas (Bangalore), and many others.
More about me:
My wild and wacky life has ranged from being a bohemian surrealist artist, poet and writer, hanging out with Salvador Dali and Marcel Duchamp in Spain; working on films, (as Scenic artist at the BBC TV, UK), designing sets and costumes for theatre and TV, in Spain, Israel, Egypt, Kenya and South Africa, and acting and dancing in theatrical productions as well as singing in a night club during 7 years of hitch-hiking halfway round the world. An unexpected experience of ‘Cosmic Consciousness’ at the age of 23 changed the course of my life and plunged me onto the spiritual path. I spent three years in Africa, hitchhiking from Cairo to Capetown and later hitchhiked overland to India, where I spent 3 years as a mendicant monk wandering the whole continent and studying with every master available. My love for India is undying. Back in the UK I spent ten years as a psychotherapist and co-founder of the Open Centre for spiritualised psychotherapy in London. My vocation is now as a spiritual mentor to hundreds of people all over the planet, being a world-travelling teacher of Worldly and Spiritual Secrets.
Because of my adventures on the spiritual quest, the mystical magazines have dubbed me "The Indiana Jones of Yoga".
I authored the first ever guide to the Ashrams of India & Nepal called "Seeking the Master" (Neville Spearman Books,1980) and also "Sharing the Quest" (Element Books, 1986) a guide to spiritual life in the world (also translated in Dutch and Italian). I also produce teaching CDs on Mantra, Yoganidra, Agni Hotra, Chakra Bijas, etc.
My Favorite Quote/What inspires me:
"Whatever is to happen, let it happen. Whatever does not happen, let it not happen. A mind with this attitude will be well established in the Self."

Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi

What inspires me is seeing someone being kind to another.
