One can accomplish the Absolute in gross material life
The Sense enjoyment is not alike slow poison but having excessive desire and involvement on them may cause of death and could be considered as a slow poison. All senses have got their own importance and they mean for their purposes. The death is a truth which comes to everyone but very few one get the immortality in life. People generally think on about sexual sense only while talking about senses but it apply in all together ten senses (touch, taste, hear, smell, see, mouth, hands, feet, genital and anus) equally, if one is attached to any of them excessively then it also obstacles much on their spiritual practice.
It is not only Man’s duty but I think both Man and Woman should do such incredible tasks in the society so that they could remain in a way immortal among us always by their deeds which they have rendered to the society. Other way immortality can only be received after attaining the Absolute where they are free from rebirth in material life. Examples are there from both the sides spiritually and materially such as Mira, Gandhi, Lord Budha, Lord Krishna and Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, Henry Ford etc. etc. But thinkable point is who has among them got immortal in a true way (free from rebirth cycle)
With regards to the real joy of life, The God has given us a very awesome life as human where they could live their life completely, means having happy life in both sides spiritually and materially and should have control on senses and can live as a yogi being viewer (Sackhibho). Hence we have a set up for life mentioned in our sacred scriptures established by our legend Lord to live as per Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksh. Only one part of life does not ensure for real joy of life but on the basis of Dharma (after absolute) can help to enjoy the real joy of life. I can even say that one part of life is attaining the state of absolute by spiritual practice where both faces Man-Woman (Nature-Brahma/ Shakti-Shiva) is there within already. Similarly other part of life is there as gross physical for enjoy the life materially in which both faces are required, individually one face cannot attain this state. Both equally mean for its purposes.
Whereas I think Detachment (Vairagya) does not guarantee for immortal but a true detachment from sense enjoyment and material comforts can help one to have immortal in life, so having a spiritual practice (Self enlightenment Practice/Sadhana) daily is very needed which can be done either being in material life with family or being isolated but one should take a note that Vairaga does not mean for leaving family and home. Only a strong will power with Guru Mantra sadhana in a specific way requires being in spiritual practice to get the state of Absolute and receive the real joy of life. Neither only spiritual knowledge is completes itself in life nor only Material knowledge itself. Similarly it applies for man and woman as well they are synonym to each other. It is unfortunate that maximum people live in materially only which is incomplete in a way because the life has two facets. So, one can accomplish the Absolute while in gross material life.
