WHY IS THE SHALOKA NUMBER 24 OF THE DAEVYUPANESHHADA MOST IMPORTANT FOR THE YOGA-PRACTITIONERS AND ASTRO-PHYSICISTS?

The Athrvavaedeeya Daevyupaneshhada is one of the most important Upaneshhadas. It contains twenty-six Snskrt Shalokas or couplets full of wisdom, both the materialistic and the spiritual.
Although all the Shalokas of this spiritual gem are important yet the Shaloka number twenty-four stands out for its really far reaching amazing deeper spiritual and material meanings.
The Shaloka number twenty-four is the most important one both for the Yoga-practitioners and the Astro-physicists.

This Shaloka is as follows:
मन्त्राणां मातृका देवी शब्दानां ज्ञानरूपिणी ।
ज्ञानानां चिन्मयातीता शून्यानां शून्यसाक्षिणी ।
यस्याः परतरं नास्ति सैषा दुर्गा प्रकीर्तिता ।।२४।।
“Mantraannaama Matrkaa Daevee Shabdaanaama Gyaanarupennee” I
“Gyaanaama Chinmyaateetaa Shunyaanaama Shunyasaakshennee” I
“Yasyaaha Paratarama Naaste Saeeshhaa Durgaa Prakeertetaa” II 24 II

The meaning of this Shaloka is as follows:
“Daevee resides as the Basic Alphabets (or Words)/ Heavenly Music/Sound in the Hymns and the Knowledge/Light in the Basic Alphabets /Words (forming the Hymns)/Heavenly Music/Sound” I
“(She resides as) Zero/Empty Space in the Knowledge/Light and the witness of the Zero/Empty Space in the Zero/Empty Space” I
“Its other end does not exist such is Durgaa the one who is beyond even the fame” II

The meaning given above can be interpreted in two ways.
The first is the literal and simple meaning. The second is the real and true meaning.
(i) The First Meaning
“Daevee resides as the Basic Alphabets (or Words) in the Hymns. She resides as the Knowledge in the Basic Alphabets/Words (forming the Hymns)” I
“(She resides as) Zero in the Knowledge and (as) the witness of the Zero” I
“Its other end does not exist such is Durgaa the one who is beyond even the fame” II
Thus, Alphabets – Words/Hymns – Knowledge – Zero are all different manifestations of the same most famous or the best of all, i.e., Durgaa who is infinite.
(ii) The Second Meaning
“Daevee resides as the Heavenly Music/Sound in the Hymns. She resides as the Light in the Heavenly Music/Sound” I
“(She resides as) Empty Space in the Light and the witness of the Empty Space in the Empty Space” I
“Its other end does not exist such is Durgaa the one who is beyond even the fame” II
Thus, Hymns – Heavenly Music/Sound – Light – Empty Space are all different manifestations of the same most famous or the best of all, i.e., Durgaa who is infinite.
Durgaa is the name given to the inexplicable power or the one who holds together the STATIC and the DYNAMIC parts of the Existence or World.
THE ANALYSIS OF THE TWO MEANINGS
Let us examine a statement in the first meaning – “(She resides as) Zero in the Knowledge and the witness of the Zero”.
It is easy to see that the meaning given above is absurd because the Knowledge can never be Zero, and Nil, i.e., Useless.
Thus, the First meaning is not the correct and the intended one.
This leads us to the second meaning.
Let us examine the statement – “(She resides as) Empty Space in the Light and the witness of the Empty Space in the Empty Space”.
This statement makes sense because the spiritual-seeker or the Yoga-practitioner experiences the Empty Space after experiencing the Light during the spiritual ascension as we shall see in the succeeding discussion.
(i) THE IMPORTANCE FOR THE YOGA-PRACTITIONER
When a spiritual-seeker or Yoga-practitioner continues chanting a hymn for sufficient duration of time with full concentration then they begin listening to or hearing the ANAAHATA NAADA or HEAVENLY MUSIC/SOUND of different types.
The type of the heavenly music/sound heard varies according to the seeker’s spiritual progress.
The seeker’s soul is uplifted by the ANAAHATA NAADA just as a powerful magnet attracts a piece of nail, after they are able to absorb their attention fully into it.
The soul reaches the realm of the divine light after being pulled up by the magnetic attraction of the ANAAHATA NAADA.
The soul or the God-particle crosses the realm of the divine light after further spiritual ascension or rise of the individual consciousness.
The soul or the God-particle ceases to possess the divine light after reaching the topmost level/boundary of the consciousness-realm and enters the absolutely EMPTY SPACE.
It ceases to have any type of the electromagnetic energy at all. Which means it ceases to have any wavelength or frequency. In other words, it comes to permanent rest and is said to have achieved the spiritual liberation . Thus, it is said to have become one with the BRHMA or the ACHARA/STATIC world/part of the existence.
The Snskrt word ACHARA means the STATIC.
The ShreemadDaeveeBhaagwat says,”…Bhagawatee Jagdambekaa, the holder/base of the dynamic and static world , is clearly proved to be the Creator.”
(ii) THE IMPORTANCE FOR THE ASTRO-PHYSICISTS
The Maanava-Shareera is, according to the Yoga Science, a replica of the Mini-Universe .
Just as the spiritual-seeker experiences an empty space after death, due to having reached the highest level of consciousness-realm while still being alive, so shall a space-traveller of a Universe experience the absolute empty space after crossing the outer boundary of their own CHARA world or DYNAMIC spherical Universe.
The Snskrt word CHARA means the DYNAMIC.
The absolute empty space has no Electromagnetism at all. The layer of the STATIC space surrounds the Universe just as an onion has layers.
The Universe is full of the Electromagnetism and therefore it is DYNAMIC.
The Electromagnetism of the Universe doesn’t leak or flow out into the surrounding STATIC empty space because of the enveloping film of the STATIC space acting as a strong opaque wall. So to say, this surrounding strong opaque space-layer acts as the base to the Electromagnetism present in the given Universe.
The surrounding strong opaque STATIC SPACE keeps all Universes away from each other.
However, it is to be mentioned here that further research is needed to understand fully the phenomenon discussed in the present research paper.
