Honourable Kalipriya, My silent salutations, My silent adoration, My silent Namaskar, My silent Prostrations, Namaste, Namaste, Jay Jay Mahakali Maa. I hereby sincerely express my gratitude to you for associating me as a member in Yoga Vidya International. A brief personal note may not be out of place here. At certain turning points in my life, when I would have made wrong decisions with my limited intelligence, I have felt as if my will was perceptibly bent by some Higher power which saved me from myself.
I am happy to say that I would get the habit of reading at least few pages of an immortal classic every morning before going down into the battle and the choking dust of the day.
Thank you for your welcome to Yoga Vidya. As noted, I am a beginner in this journey and hope to learn from others who came before me. I truly appreciate the wonderful resource that is offered on the web by Yoga Vidya and look forward to years of participation. I have enjoyed the videos done by Aruna going from complete beginner to advanced (I am at the beginner portion of those) and the leading chants or kirtan by a guy identified as Vishwanath, particularly his lively Om Namah Shivaya. I would love to be able to visit the ashram at Bad Meinberg Haus someday, but it will likely be a few years. I seldom travel, but my wife has been to the Netherlands to visit her friends there several times. I am also interested in learning more about the Vedic texts, including Ramayana, Mahabharata, and, of course, Bhagavad Gita.
I do not readily have a picture for the Profile and (as far as I know) I have never accessed a social media website. But, I can be reached by Comments on the Yoga Vidya website, of course, and by my gmail. My wife and I live in the Seattle area in the State of Washington in the northwest corner of the US.
Thank you again for your kind welcome. I look forward to becoming acquainted in the Yoga Vidya international community.
