Why should we keep the tongue against the palate in some exercises?<br/>
One of our facebook friends asked this question and received several replies - what would you advise?<br/>
<br/>
Sunita: Keeping the tongue this way helps in generating more saliva which when goes in to the body helps in degiestion.<br/>
<br/>
<br/>
Ian: Thanks Sunita!<br/>
<br/>
Ellen: to estimulate the pineal gland<br/>
<br/>
<br/>
Victor: I had the same q. mostly for it use in in meditation. I´ve read everything about it and found something talking of an exercise with the tongue back, more and more each time. At some point this practice will lead you to a wake of some so pure elixir in the throat. A panacea... This and more...<br/>

One of our facebook friends asked this question and received several replies - what would you advise?
Shoumava: Kundlani Yoga is the yoga which helps in awakening the kundalini with practice of certain meditation techniques, pranayamic breathing and asanas. It is a form of Raja Yoga in which the Yogi focusses on his Shat chakras ( six chakras) and ultimately to the highest goals of attaining God and eternal bliss
Generally all forms of Yogi practices and Ashthanga Yoga is directed with the final goal of arising and awakening the Kundali the serpent like energy cuddled at the base of your spine.
You can follow normal Yogic practices as well as practice under a certified master to attain it
Guru Bala: Awakening the serpent power that lies in the base chakra, through yoga practice !

<p class="p5"><span class="s1">Anne: Kundal means serpent -- and it si this power that lies coiled and dormant in the muladara chakra - but can only be awakened by sadhana and Guru Kripa. Kundalini is not a physical occurence really more about awakening of inner knowledge, wi...sdom and clarity -- the development of consciousness.. Its developing self discipline and self control. its the energy that awakens all of the chakras. It helps to liberate us from ignorance, illusion and fluctuating thought -- and liberation is the goal of yoga...so YES this is necessary. :) When we have this awareness, our perceptions of cosmic vibrations and radient energy become more sensitive. And our understanding of the connections and laws within the universe deepens. Maybe so...me people don't feel it and experience it more as just an awakening of consciousness, but there are people who can feel it, it is not imagination. <p class="p5"><span class="s1">It is possible to awaken the kundalini prematurely and have some terrible physical consequences. PRANAYAMA FOR AWAKENING KUNDALINI
When you practise the following, concentrate on the Muladhara Chakra at the base of the
spinal column, which is triangular in form and which is the seat of the Kundalini Shakti. Close the right nostril with your right thumb. Inhale through the left nostril till you count 3 Oms slowly. Imagine that you are drawing the Prana with the atmospheric air. Then close the left nostril with your little and ring fingers of the right hand. Then retain the breath for 12 Oms. Send the current down the spinal column straight into the triangular lotus, the Muladhara Chakra. Imagine that the nerve-current is striking against the lotus and awakening the Kundalini. Then slowly exhale through the right nostril counting 6 Oms. Repeat the process from the right nostril as stated above, using the same units, and having the same imagination and feeling. This Pranayama will awaken the Kundalini quickly. Do it 3 times in the morning and 3 times in the evening. Increase the number
and time gradually and cautiously according to your strength and capacity. In this Pranayama, concentration on the Muladhara Chakra is the important thing. Kundalini will be awakened quickly if the degree of concentration is intense and if the Pranayama is practised regularly.
KUNDALINI PRANAYAMA
In this Pranayama, the Bhavana is more important than the ratio between Puraka,
Kumbhaka and Rechaka. Sit in Padma or Siddha Asana, facing the East or the North.
After mentally prostrating to the lotus-feet of the Sat-guru and reciting Stotras in praise of
God and Guru, commence doing this Pranayama which will easily lead to the awakening of the Kundalini. Inhale deeply, without making any sound. As you inhale, feel that the Kundalini lying dormant in the Muladhara Chakra is awakened and is going up from Chakra to Chakra. At the conclusion of the Puraka, have the Bhavana that the Kundalini has reached the Sahasrara. The more vivid the visualisation of Chakra after Chakra, the
more rapid will be your progress in this Sadhana. Retain the breath for a short while. Repeat the Pranava or your Ishta Mantra. Concentrate on the Sahasrara Chakra. Feel that by the Grace of Mother Kundalini, the darkness of ignorance enveloping your soul has been dispelled. Feel that your whole being is pervaded by light, power and wisdom.
Slowly exhale now. And, as you exhale feel that the Kundalini Shakti is gradually
descending from the Sahasrara, and from Chakra to Chakra, to the Muladhara Chakra.
Now begin the process again. It is impossible to extol this wonderful Pranayama adequately. It is the magic wand for attaining perfection very quickly. Even a few days’ practice will convince you of its remarkable glory. Start from today, this very moment.
May God bless you with joy, bliss and immortality.

The system of chakras is known for a long time. But some of sources represent the chakras in the form of a flower or color, others - in the form of energy whirlwinds or in the form of sacral symbols (Tantra). It is known, that chakras operate work of internal gland and provide with energy vegetative nervous system.<br/>
<br/>
This model of the chakras system is presented in the form of sacral or spiritual symbols of ancient India and Egypt.<br/>
Such known elements as ida, pingala, sushumna and chakras are presented in this model.<br/>

That Ankh operate work of a complex of pyramids and facilitate the balancing of the chakras.<br/>

Now it becomes clear why ancient Egyptians gave to a symbol Ankh such important sacral value.<br/>

What I come to understand about Kriyoga is as below.
“Sampurna Kriyayoga Kriya Brahmarupam Kriya,
Sampurna Aadhar Shiva Shakti Kriya Vedarupam Kriya”
Kriyayoga is basically a “Tantra” through which a Kriyayogi gets his internal power awaked in order to reach totality in his life with very spiritual path of knowledge. So, as it is said above a complete Kriyayoga is Absolute way of Brahma which total base is the Kriya (function) of Lord Shiva and Goddess Maa Shakti Jagdamba and they are full of pure Tantra and that is done with Vedic way is a complete Kriyayoga.
There are some Asana with some special Pranayama and Mudra but they do not complete Kriyayoga completely but it gets complete when a Kriyayogi uses Veda Mantra too with Mudra and Pranayama.
Kriyayoga is a very powerful techniques to activate his Kundalini Chakras and other power points situated in his whole body. This techniques/gyana can only be received through a Sadgurudev there is nothing alternate at all and GURUSEWA , SAMARPAN and SADHANA are the main objects to pleased a Sadgurudev to received such powerful gyana.
Mind it, if lacking of pure LOVE one neither devote himself fully to his Sadgurudev nor can serve for him. So how the pure love will be generated in one’s soul that is also a question and the answer is only GURUMANTRA SADHANA and nothing else and a real sadhaka should receive such gurmantra from a real Sadgurudev.

If it is the chakras then merely physical application of the asanas will be of little

question correctly... You were asking about the spiritual practice of
opening the chakras... ??? There are certain kinds of meditations like
Shambhavi maha mudra which help to open up the chakras... but as in all
things related to the supreme self, practice, awareness, understanding
the experiences is very important. You can learn theses meditations
under the guidance of a master...<br/>Good luck and happy meditation. :-)</span><div><span class="text_exposed_show"><br/></span></div>

Ancient east philosophies represent a spirit substance in more details, in the form of system of chakras - the centers of subtle energy and system of subtle bodies which surround a physical body of the person.<br/><br/>About chakras it is written much, primary sources basically on a Sanskrit. The first translations have presented H. P. Blavatsky, C.W. Leadbeater. Chakras are translate from a Sanskrit as a "circle", "wheel" or "disk". In Yoga chakras are represented, as whirlwinds mental (vital) subtle energy - as a prana (Hindi) or as energy of chi (Chinese system).<br/><br/>In representations of the Tantra, Yoga chakras is bio energy knots, in the form of rotating cone-shaped energy whirlwinds, which leave in both parties and placed along a backbone (spine column), and also upwards and downwards. The scheme of system from seven chakras is most often presented in the literature.<br/><br/>It is known, an illnesses start to be shown first of all in system of subtle bodies, in subtle energy structure of chakras. If we will detect beginning of an illness the early, so it's easier and faster to make healing body and so to do healing Karma.<br/><br/>Diagnostics of subtle energy of chakras system (<a href="http://my.yoga-vidya.org/group/diagnosticsofkarma">diagnostics of Karma</a>) may be presented so:<br/><br/>

It is possible to do on distance.<br/><br/>First diagnostics shows numerous infringements of energy whirlwinds structure of chakras and energy blocks . The first test has been made before healing.<br/><br/>The second and the third tests are made after healing by means of a <a href="http://my.yoga-vidya.org/group/healingpyramidsofatlantis"><u><b>Healing pyramids of Atlantis</b></u></a><br/><br/><a href="http://superconciousness.ning.com/group/diagnosticsofkarma">Diagnostics of karma.</a></p>

That the function of chakras is to process such an energy. So the number of chakras as well as their location, colors, and so on, vary from individual to individual. This view sounds interesting but a little bothering for those following a given framework. He speaks also of imaginary chakras that are created with mind power (a maya expression) by those who use imaginery instead of feeling...<br/> <br/>
I don't know if he is taking things sensu strictori or just rhetorical. Is there someone who can comment?<br/>
