The road to the Ganga Prem Hospice site in Raiwala is still a mud road. Villagers have been demanding that the state govenment ( state of Uttarakhand) pave the road. A procession and a protest fast last week by the villagers led the administration to promise swift action.

It is a five kilometre long stretch. Now the state govt said that Rs 170 lacs have been sacntioned for the road and the building will start within 2 months. This is very good news for us.
