THE SPIRITUAL YOGA
The Spiritual Yoga means that Yoga in which Yogic breathing exercise and/or Yogic physical posture is/are used along with physical/mental chanting of some holy hymn/syllable/word or tuning into the Eternal/Heavenly Sound/Music to merge one’s own individual consciousness into the Supreme Consciousness.
THE NONSPIRITUAL YOGA
It consists of only one type of Yoga: the Yoga Exercise.
THE YOGA EXERCISE
The physical or mental exercise that involves the synchronisation of the breathing process with each physical or mental movement of the body may be termed the Yoga Exercise. The breathing process includes inhaling, exhaling or retaining of the breath. The Yoga exercise which isn’t intended to connect with or merge one’s own individual consciousness into the Supreme Consciousness cannot be termed the Spiritual Yoga. No physical/mental chanting of some holy hymn/syllable/word is done either.
THE NONYOGA EXERCISE
The physical or mental exercise that doesn’t involve the synchronisation of the breathing process with each physical or mental movement of the body may be termed the Yoga Exercise. There is no conscious effort to link each physical or mental movement with the breathing process (inhaling, exhaling or retaining of the breath). Of course, it is common knowledge that the Yoga Exercise rejuvenates one’s heart, mind, body and soul without making the practitioner feel tired or need the physical rest. On the other hand, the NonYoga Exercise makes the practitioner feel tired and need the physical rest after completion of such a NonYoga exercise.
