There exist hundreds of translations and commentaries of the Gita. I have looked only into a hand full of them, but I intensely study Paramahansa Yoganandas translation and commentary "God talks with Arjuna" and I really can't imagine, that there could exist a better commentary, better fit for the needs of our time.

Which translation and commentary do you use and what is your impression about it?

First experience was with Srila Prabhupada's Bhagavad Gita As It Is, it took more than 1 year to study it; then I have started The LIving Gita by Swami Satchitananda and also the transaltion and commentary by Swami Chidbhavananda from the Ramakrishna MIssion. Which one better? Cannot say, they come from different schools of thought, and I don't believe that any one is better than the other, at least for my personal taste.
