"Japa (Chanting) Children, in the present dark age of materialism, chanting the mantra (japa), is the easiest way for us to obtain inner purification and concentration. Japa can be done at anytime, anywhere without observing any rule regarding the purity of mind and body. Japa can be done while engaged in any task." — Amma

"Anger cannot be transcended through meditation or chanting of mantra or living in solitude only. A true seeker should go out in the world, "battle", and develop a mature mind. Courageous are those who refrain from getting angry in situations where anger would be expected. Only those who stay calm in the midst of a world full of chaos & diversity can claim to have succeeded." - Amma
