Release tension from your lower back, give rest to your discs, lengthen your lower spine and give a good massage to your internal organs. This variation of Nakarasana, Crocodile, is also called Pavana Muktasana, "wind releasing posture". It is helpful against constipation and flatulence. This variation of crocodile can be done anytime during the day, especially in the morning, even while still lying in bed. It is also helpful in between classic Asanas in a Yoga Series, as it helps to relax. Demonstrated by Mahashakti, explained by Sukadev of Yoga Vidya.
