... am a Yoga Teacher
I am an expert in the following areas:
I have been teaching the beginner classes in Frankfurt for almost 4 years now. I enjoy seeing how the participants progress so nicely, especially if they take all four levels of the beginner's classes. My expertise would be my ability to enter the class room, feel what the students need that day, and give them what they need. I rarely plan the class.
My Yoga tradition/style/center, Yoga practice, Yoga Master/s, Teacher/s
My yoga practice and the way I teach is based on the yoga teacher training at Yoga Vidya and the philosophy of Swami Sivananda. From this as my "home base," I have practiced and participated in many teacher trainings in the Ashtanga tradition and more recently more alignement-based traditions. I am enjoying learning about yoga and would like to improve my know-how in the area of anatomy and alignement. Although I do not know Sukadev personally, he would be my main teacher and his interpretation of the Yoga Sutras is my main book of reference for dealing with the day-to-day.
