Swami Sudhir Anand was born in the Southern state of India, called Orissa. He is the founder director of Shiva Yoga Peeth. He left his home after completing his graduation, in search of God and deeper spirituality and thus traveled all over India. In his early childhood, he met with a lot of great saints and learnt about yoga from them. Later he worked as a priest in Neelkanth Mahadav Temple (Rishikesh) for three years and continued his sadhana. Register for a Yoga Teacher Training course at Rishikesh for 2011. Now opens. After servicing the temple and learning from there, he went to Varanasi where he lived for five years and studied the paths of yoga more deeply and besides also did a Yoga Diploma course from Varanasi Hindu University. He then decided to go to the jungles for deeper Sadhana, after his Sadhana he decided to enroll as a student and do a Yoga Master course from Kaivalyadham, Lonavala, Puna; a world famous institute pioneer in teaching yoga. He worked as a yoga teacher at Kaivalyadham institute for some time and since then has been teaching all over India. Swami Sudhir Anand keeps attending all the Indian yoga programs to give lectures. He teaches Hatha yoga, Shivananda yoga, Ashtanga yoga, Kundalini yoga, Mantra yoga, etc. He has also extensively studied the Vedas, Vedanta, the Upanishads and the Gita Now he has his yoga centres in Dharamshala and Rishikesh; where he offers expert Yoga teacher.training courses and also travels in India extensively to spread the knowledge of Yoga and help people. His aim is to spread yoga all over the world. Swami Sudhir Anand also teaches yoga in Europe and Israel.
