Downward-facing-dog-pose is also known as Adho Mukha Shvanasana. It is a standing pose and this yoga asana energizes and rejuvenates the body. It can be used as a transitional pose, a resting pose, and a strength-builder. It stretches the calves, shoulder, hands, and spine. It improves the blood circulation of the body.
