There are several ways to translate Tumi Bhaja Kirtan. Basically, the meaning of a kirtan is more than the meaning of the individual words. For a bhakta, a devotee, a kirtanist, a kirtan is a song of praise to God. Often the singers, even in India, are not aware of the meaning of the words. They simply feel bhakti, devotion, love, closeness to God.
