This is the first of a two-part training. It offers you a unique opportunity to connect with the ancient knowledge of Ayurveda and to experience practical treatments under the expert guidance of a traditional Indian Ayurvedic doctor.
Curriculum:
* History of Aryuvedic medicine and its basic principles
* Anatomy, physiology, pathology, preventive medicine
* Nutrition
* Practical training in treatment
Upon successful conclusion of this couse you will be qualified to consult clients in an Aryuvedic manner, give nutritional counselling and offer information on preventive and rejuvenating lifestyle changes.
This course is suitable for homeopaths, medical doctors, alternative and complimentary practitioners, nutritional counsellors, physiotherapists, masseurs and yoga teachers who wish to extend their range of knowledge and application. It is also for interested lay-persons.
Those who want to deepen their knowledge may participate in the advanced course, which is also suitable as continuing education for Ayurveda experts (Oct 14-23, 2012).
Requirements: Basic knowledge of Ayurveda and Yoga (for example an Ayurveda weekend or Yoga and Meditation introductory weekend)
