• the meaning of the flavours in Ayurveda
• the energetic effects of the different foods and their forms of preparation
• the effects on each dosha (constitution, bio energies)

• composition of menus according to the constitutions - which foods and which combinations are good for which dosha and in which situation.
• The group will prepare ayurvedic and Indian dishes together, with consideration of ayurvedic principles.

You will learn to cook:
• dhal, khicheri, vegetables
• chapati, roti, puri
• chutneys that are aromatic, spicy and cooling
• curries
• rice dishes such as pulao, saffron rice, simple Indian rice, aromatic yoghurt-rice
• desserts: halwa, khir, shiri, laddhu
• ayurvedic tea, lassi, takrana
• preparation of ghee and yoghurt
• ... and other surprise-dishes!
This training is especially appropriate for Ayurveda health consultants, who offer ayurvedic nutritional consulting or ayurvedic cooking-workshops or want to know more about ayurvedic cuisine.
