Probe the secrets and basic principles of ayurvedic cooking under the experienced and loving guidance of Leela Mata. Those of you who have already had the pleasure of participating in her workshops know how deeply she can initiate you into wisdom that is not easily found in cookbooks.
This course will include a combination of theory and practice. You will learn:
• the meaning of the flavors in Ayurveda
• the energetic effects of different foods and their forms of preparation
• the effects on each dosha (bodily constitution)
• the effects of foods and their preparation on body and mind
• composition of menus according to the doshas - which foods and combinations are good for each constitution and in which situation
• you will prepare dishes as a group, giving consideration to ayurvedic principles
