Come see for yourself in this 1.5 hour workshop geared towards beginners!In Yoga Fundamentals you will begin to build the foundation for your yoga practice in orderto gain flexibility, strength, and balance. In this workshop you will explore specific alignmentof asanas (yoga poses) and asana sequences including balancing, standing, seated, coreand spine strengthening, and sun salutations; as well as the relationship of movement andbreath. Yogic breathing, meditation and relaxation techniques will also be introduced, perfectfor stress relief and overall well being. This class is perfect for those just beginning theirpractice or those already practicing regularly, but who may want to go back to the basics.This workshop will help guide you into a complete yoga practice. We will look at and discuss approximately 10 basic yogic poses with detailed directions and practice time. The poses willbe broken down showing proper alignment and techniques.
