Mudras are hand positions that enable you to seal psychic energies into specific channels within the subtle body. They are potent spiritual tools that can enhance the purification and good health of the practitioner’s physical, mental and psychic being. With regular practice, mudras can sharpen and expand spiritual wisdom. They help to restore balance within the microcosm and bring it into harmony with the macrocosm. In this workshop, participants will be introduced to the basic energetic concepts of working with mudras.

Swami Saradanda has taught yoga and yoga philosophy for more than thirty years. She is an inspiring speaker who has authored a number of books, including Yoga, Mind and Body, Chakra Meditations and The Power of Breath. She has also led numerous pilgrimages to India, Nepal and Tibet and undertaken extensive personal practice in the Himalayas and teaches regularly at The College of Psychic Studies.
