World Yoga Day

On Sunday the 8th of February 2009, yoga teachers and schools around the world will donate their time and space to a two hour yoga session which is devoted to human rights. Students attending the event will donate whatever tuition they can afford. All contributions are welcome and also students who can't pay at all – the money is important to help victims of human right violation but so is the spirit. We love to see yogis from all styles participate in this wonderful event whether Iyengar, Bikram, Anusara, Ashtanga, Laughter Yoga…at the heart of any yoga style stands the union. Bringing all yogis worldwide together to devote their practice to this important cause will be a wonderful, spirited celebration of yoga. Our aim is that as many nations as possible come together on this project, especially countries where human rights violation is a more dominant issue.

    PS: I p´ressed "I might" but I think I won't! Sorry! I would like to learn Yoga, or maybe Thae KenDo (cannot spell it)...

    I guess I'm OK with my painting. When I'm into it nothing can stay between me and the canvas...
