Yes, desires are never ending process but I would like to say here only that if a person can remain unaffected with material life even engaging in, the then desires will neither be rampant nor be a enemy of peace. If one who says himself a yogi and simply desires or material life disturb his peace then I think he not a yogi may be some thing else but not a real yogi.

A real yogi can only uphold both the situations material and spiritual. Should a person/yogi live in scarcity and be depended on other, I very strongly say no, why should a person/yogi live without desires, he should be with them but in an affected form and keep on try to get the actual aim of his life and that should be brahmanand, akhandanand, chaitanyananda and so on.

Our ancient sages and Rishi-Maharshi were wealthy and even our Gods are full of wealth and married then why we should think desires are rampant.
