Remedy for oily skin

Any remedy for oily skin?
One of our facebook friends asked this question and received the following replies - do you have any other advice besides the following?


Shoumava: Multani mitti


Chetankumar: Kapalbhanti and less fats in diet will do the trick for U.
The asanas which makes U bend forward are a bliss in such cases.
Paschimottasana and Yog Mudra will increaase blood and energy flow in ur face.


Lakshmi: sarvangasana is also gud...maks ppl luk youngr!!!


Shoumava: I think oily skin is a permanent thing and is a type of the skin in which there are more oil buds in the skin we cannot change it with Yoga but yes better functioning of the digestive system would ensure that pimples and all are not formed on the skin


Fox: increasing blood flow to the face to help carry away toxins does help, as does the use of vinegar, as noted above. There are many things we can do to modify just about anything Mr. Sengupta, do not let your ignorance obscure the illumination of knowledge for another.

Victor: oil is only natural >> dependent upon persons age >> & where oil originates....ie>> which part of body>> usually face>> in teenagers>> this goes away...>>more fluid & balanced diet :)


Catherine: eat less oil


Fox: Also, using cider vinegar on a cotton ball can help reduce oily skin. IT can also be used for clean and shiny hair against the same excess of oil. Used under the arms it is also a deodorant. Ingested in small quantities daily in can assist in the cleansing of the digestive system and the blood.


Dane: Avoid saturated fats, sugar, and cooking with oils. Stick to whole grains and leafy veggies. Be sure you are getting enough vitamins and to stay hydrated as well.


Bijith: Seethali and seethkari will help on skin matters



Suresh: Try to eat simple and if possible Vegetarian only, Low on salt, spices and any thing very tatsy, Do long walk in fresh air speisally early mornig and if you see a wet grass( frost) in fine weather please do touch it with your palms and heel...s also touch your eye brows just before sunrise, for a drink keep one glass of water next to your bed before sleep and drink it next morning straight away. For hot drink hot milk with 1/4 of termaric powder in milk with bassel leaf before bed. Do drink lots of waterwith 1/2 lime before going toilet any time. If you are a yoga practitnior please do anuloma viloma and sun salutation. If you are daily yoga practitnior please do YOGA INTENSIVE SADHNA course which is 1 weak course and you will gain whole bennefits its a best way. Hope it helps. OM with prem.



Natasha: take some gram flour , mix a water and then filter it tthru a hanky or even dont filter it . add half teaspoonfl of honey and apply all over your body before a bath and scrub it in with the hanky or a cloth , keep for two mins and take your... bath .add turmeric also if you wish a little as antiseptic to the mixture .
I think you will have a great skin .
and if you want a little glowing skin : do the same mixture but in that mixture add a little tomato inside with seeds and scrub it in .

Mita: apply chana flour....mix with milk or rose water.....it helps...n
always wash ur face as many times with simple normal water...


Ritu: try to have loads of fruits n green vegetables as it vll surely gnna help u to hv a oli free skin!!


Sarala: avoid eating oily food like fries, masalas. drink lot of water.
