Ahimsa is one of the fundamentals of Hinduism and the act of killing even a creature is considered as one of five Sins that one should be abstained from. If it is so, how came the tradition of slaughtering of Animals in Hindu temples in order to"Satisfy Gods & Goddess". I request anyone to clarify on this please.
