I am seeking some light on the following.

Weight exercise require maximum time and labour. In the descending order of these two parameters for popular means to well being, I see outdoor execrises, cardio/aerobics, then body yoga, then mudras and lastly mental yoga and meditation.

The rishis needed to maintain their body over the long years in attaining spiritual enlightment and best way to do so in tough environments with least food, activity and time was mudra, rathar than body yogas, I guess.

Look forward to inputs if mudras do really take care of benefits we get thru body yoga.
