However, the biography ends in 2024.  From my earliest childhood, my life was characterised by extreme hardship, being an outcast and helplessness.     Publication in a Scientific Book: Only a fraction of Austria's 9 million inhabitants are ever cited as a case study in a scientific book. This is a very rare form of public documentation.

    Internationally Recognized Niche Title: The number of FIDE Masters in chess composition in Austria is extremely small. Most people do not achieve such a recognized and internationally known title in their field.

Platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram are designed to quickly generate and distribute popularity. The system rewards content that goes viral, but not necessarily that with lasting value.
    The role of algorithms: The algorithms of these platforms are designed for user retention and revenue maximization. They push videos that generate high click rates and interactions within the first few hours. This leads to an endless cycle of trending topics and hype, with influencer careers often lasting only five to seven years before fading into obscurity.
    The transience of trends: Most influencer content revolves around short-term phenomena such as viral dances, challenges, or other easily consumable topics. When these trends fade, the content also loses relevance.

    The wrong metric of mass media:

    Traditional mass media often still measures "celebrity" by reach. If an influencer has millions of followers, they are considered famous. They overlook the fact that this fame rests on a fleeting foundation. The fame of a scientist or an artist is not based on short-term clicks, but on a lasting contribution to society.
    Conclusion
    It is therefore a mistake to confuse superficial popularity with lasting significance. What is celebrated as "fame" in the media today is often just a temporary flash. The real, lasting legacy is not created on fast-moving platforms, but through deep engagement with a topic.

    Ephemerality: Most content on social media is fleeting. It is quickly forgotten and rarely documented or archived for posterity unless it has a very large viral reach.
    Differing levels of value: The claim that social media is exclusively superficial is not entirely accurate. There are also niches where specialist content or deeper insights are shared. However, this is not the predominant type of use.

    1. The Opportunity of Information and Transformation

    More Detailed Representation: Digitalization enables unprecedented levels of detail. Digital tools allow us to describe complex topics more comprehensively, link multimedia content (images, videos, texts, data), and thus paint a more comprehensive picture of reality.
    Comparability and Connectivity: The ease of searching and comparing information has been revolutionized. Scientists, journalists, and everyone else can access a wealth of data – something previously unimaginable.
    Democratization of Knowledge: Anyone with internet access potentially has access to countless sources of information. This enables comprehensive knowledge transfer and reduces dependence on traditional information sources.

    2. The Challenge of Superficiality
    Rapid Consumption and Reward Systems: Platforms like Facebook and Instagram are designed for rapid consumption. Likes, comments, and shares are immediate rewards that stimulate the human brain to prefer short, visual, or easily digestible content. This reduces the incentive for detailed, in-depth content.
    Lack of engagement: The superficial nature of these interactions leads to a lack of deeper engagement with complex topics. Even difficult, emotional content is often reduced to a few words or an image, distorting the context and nuances of the original experience.

    The "subtract image and few words" mentality: A culture emerges in which the effort required to engage deeply with a topic—whether by writing an autobiography like Krug or authoring a chess study—is perceived as too great. Patience for lengthy, intellectually demanding processes diminishes.

    The Paradox of Digital Society

    Division is a central paradox of the digital age. On the one hand, we have the tools to document profound human experiences in unprecedented detail. On the other hand, the prevailing communication model encourages the most superficial form of expression.

    We have the potential for unprecedented depth, but in everyday practice we tend towards more convenient, faster and therefore more superficial communication.

  • Yoga and the importance of positive thinking and feeling into my own body

    Since the beginning of 2025, I have had increased neurological complaints which manifest themselves in the tingling in my legs which increases with every walk or run or more strenuous exercise. I tried to ignore it at first, but when the tingling became more severe and also affected parts of the foot, the whole foot and not just the sole of the foot, I was so worried that I might have neuropaedic Lyme disease that I had trouble sleeping. Every time I did more intensive exercise, e.g. running for an hour, the complaints would become significantly worse, immediately afterwards and then throughout the night, so that I couldn't sleep that night. The next day, I lay in bed, tried to keep calm in my legs and it got better again. I gained hope and started exercising again, then it got worse again, that was it, and this up and down continued for a week until I finally understood that I had to stop exercising, especially strenuous exercise. Since then, I have limited my sporting activities due to the worsening of my neurological complaints. set to the minimum and also consider when I get up, when I stand, how much I walk, every step, every walk, I consider carefully.

    Now, a few months later, the symptoms have spread, first to the left and right thighs, then to the hips. This means that I can also feel the tingling in my hips and upper legs However, the main symptoms are still in my feet, particularly in the balls of my feet, and they get worse when I've been sitting for a while. That's why I visited the Christian Doppler Clinic on September 17th 2025 and went to the emergency neurology clinic. There I was examined for neurological disorders, but without any equipment; just by palpation, tapping, balance exercises, and so on. Doctor Andrea Janu diagnosed polyneuropathy and prescribed me new pro bio-pforte coated tablets three times a day. These are capsules with vitamin B1 to B6 to B12. About a week later, the symptoms were still there, even though I was also taking regular medication. The symptoms continued to worsen.

    So I went to the neurologist again. Only the representative, Dr. Alexander Kunz, was there. And yes, he examined the nerves that go from my calves to my feet, for example the tibial nerve. He did this with a device that delivered small electric shocks to my nerves in order to measure nerve conduction velocity and reflexes. Dr. Kunz's result was that the nerves showed no abnormalities and he said that it wasn't polyneuropathy because, according to me, the symptoms worsen with movement.

    Again, I was without a causal diagnosis. I was discharged without a causal diagnosis. After a week or one and a half weeks, the symptoms got worse. Now they were not only noticeable in my feet but also in my calves, thighs and even my hips, especially when I was sitting for a long time, standing still, or doing something more intense. So after about a week and a half, I consulted Dr. Huber's neurology department. This time, Dr. Sven Huber was actually there. He was very friendly, but he constantly cut the discussion short and didn't listen to anything I said. He asked me if it got worse at night, which is the tingling, and I said yes, that I had noticed it, and said that it could be restless lay syndrome. He said I should take the new medication, Neupro 1 mg per 24 hours with the active ingredient Rotigotin. It's a trans, the normal patch. I take it and hoped that he was right and that the symptoms would improve with this patch. The first message was, I was calm and I could sleep, but The next few days it would get worse again and I realized that the patch wasn't working. I went back to the doctor and doctor Sven Huber said that I needed an increase now, a Neupro two milligrams, so an increase every 24 hours. I talked to him and said that the symptoms would get worse with every movement but he didn't listen to me. He said we were going around in circles and so on. 

    Dr. Sven Huber interrupted me after 10 minutes by repeatedly interrupting me while I was talking, which I found very unpleasant because I doubted the diagnosis of restless-less syndrome for the following reasons: firstly, I don't have an irrepressible urge to move my legs at night, secondly, the symptoms increase with every movement, which contradicts this diagnosis diametrically. The fact that the symptoms sometimes get worse at night is rather rare, as a rule it gets worse when I move, sit, stand or after strenuous exercise at night, I can now sleep again.

    Yoga and the importance of positive thinking, spirituality, and paying attention to my physical complaints.

    Sensing them, precisely sensing when they get worse has helped me so far. I've been able to sleep for the last few nights because I knew it was best not to worry too much. I now know that I don't have diabetes. Neuro-Lyme disease has probably been ruled out because I have no other symptoms besides the tingling in my legs. It's been ruled out that it's sal tunnel syndrome. It's been ruled out that it's partial fastitis. It's been ruled out that Polish neuropathy. It's also been ruled out that I possibly had a vitamin B deficiency. My blood tests showed that I had enough vitamins B1, B6, and B12 in my blood. However, I had already taken Pro Bio three times a day a week ago, and I'm not sure whether this had any effect on my blood values. In any case, positive thinking helped me to fall asleep again. I no longer view the tingling with such concern. I have confidence in my own physicality, just like I learned in yoga. It has also helped me to incorporate rest breaks into my daily routine and to adopt more lying positions. to take one.

    Regarding medication:

    I have taken Neurobion, I have taken Resta il nerve pain relief, Pregalabin, and Pregamid, but none of that helped! Since I still don't know the underlying disease behind these neurological disorders, I have decided to forget these medications. The reason is that after taking Neupro, a transdermal patch with the active ingredient Rotigotin, I developed severe digestive problems. For over a week, I had increasing constipation and problems with bowel movements. I couldn't have a bowel movement anymore, and on Sunday, of all days, the constipation was very painful. I experienced it as an emergency and desperately sought out your pharmacy, which was also open on Sundays. So I drove to Golling and bought Microlax. After an hour, with active assistance and pain, I was able to relieve myself of this unbearable pressure. I read on the internet that taking Rotigotin, i.e. the transdermal patch Neupro, can cause constipation. This got me thinking. It didn't help me at all against my symptoms but it created an additional problem namely constipation.

    The transmeer transdermal patch "NeuPro" (Rotigotin) not only caused serious constipation but also got severe nausea and dizziness. 

    Yoga philosophy is the only thing that has helped me with this currently unknown neurological illness or what lies behind this neurological illness. I noticed that I was becoming increasingly worried about the increased pain in my legs, and that was one of the main reasons for the sleep problems. So I tried to worry as little as possible and instead trust in my body's self-healing powers and to trust in my body's own healing powers. Since I've been practicing this, I've been able to sleep again, which is the most important thing for me. I usually feel better in the early morning and the symptoms have subsided, but when I get up, go to the bathroom, wash the dishes, and go shopping for groceries, the symptoms then get worse. I also know that I should avoid strenuous exercise if I don't want the symptoms to get worse, and these two points are the only ones that have helped me so far. All the medications I described above have only cost me a lot of money and have not been able to help my symptoms at all.

  • Yoga Philosophy and Neurological Reality

    Today, October 23rd, I had considerable difficulty shopping at a supermarket. Standing in line was torture. The longer I had to wait, the more unpleasant the tingling sensations in my legs, which are now becoming increasingly dominant in my hips.
    At home, while eating, sitting down also became impossible. It was torture, and I lay down to make the tingling more bearable. In fact, after an hour of rest, it got better... In the evening, I plan to do some intensive yoga exercises despite my neurological condition. I know that I can try gentle yoga and non-strenuous yoga. Even with the risk that it will get worse afterward. I need to find a way to deal with this unknown neurological illness without the constant use of neurological medications that can have serious side effects. I don't want to have any more severe constipation, nor any more severe dizziness or fainting spells after taking medications. Because then the cost of the medication would be too high, especially since I don't have any medications to counteract or alleviate the symptoms. Since I don't know the cause of the neurological illness, there is currently no causal treatment for it. What I can do is what I learned in yoga: positive thinking, relaxation, and frequent rest. Because every exertion is followed by a bad night.
