9078786461?profile=originalHala means a "Plough" the shape of body resembles Hala(Plough), hence it is called Halasana.TECHNIQUE: Lie down flat on the back with the legs andfeet together, place the arms beside the body withpalms facing down and raise both legs to the verticalposition, keeping them straight and together, pressdown on the arms and lift the buttocks, rolling theback away from the floor. Lower the legs over thehead. Try to touch the toes to the floor behind thehead. Place the arms close to the body with palmsfacing down remain in this position as long as iscomfortable. Then slowly come back in normal position.This is one round of Halasana, beginners should dominimum 3 rounds daily.BENEFITS: The Spine receives an extra supply of blooddue to the forward bend and this helps to relieveback ache. This asana massages each vertebra, in thespinal card. It invigorates blood circulation andpurifies blood leading to elimination of skin trouble.Thyroid and Parathyroid glands get massaged well.Excessive from the abdomen and things gets removed.This is also very beneficial from women. This asanaimproves the production of insulin by the pancreas andmassaged the liver and kidney also.CAUTION: Those who are suffering from Heart problemsHigh blood pressure, slipped disc, sciatica, Hernianeck pain and pregnant women should not perform this asana.Try to learn under the guidance of Yoga Guru.
