Paschimottanasana

This asana stimulates your abdomal areas as the liver,pancreas and the kidneys.Those who suffer from diabetes or piles will be benefited by doing this asana.You will also get a supple spine.
For this you have to sit on the ground with your legs stretched without bending.Slowly start bending forwards and exhaling and try to catch hold of your toes with your legs straight.Those of you'll who are able to bury their face between the knees,may do so.Stay in this position for about 5 seconds and then inhaling,you may slowly raise your body to the original position.You should repeat this asana for about three times initially and may increase it slowly to 5 times as your body gets more supple.Remember,while doing it for the first time do consult your Doc. if you are suffering from any ailment.After every asana, one has to take rest by lying in Savasan[corpse pose]i.e to lie flat on your back with your hands on sides keeping your legs straight and relax with toes apart and heels together.
