sarvangasana

This asana, as the name suggests ''sarvanga'' means all the parts of your body are utilized and tones up the whole system.For this, you have to lie on your back and raise your legs slowly together vertically upwards balancing yourself on your shoulders.Use your hips as a support for your hands as you raise your legs.Keep your chin pressed against the chest and try to remain in this position for a minute to start with and as you gradually become more confident to do this asana, you can hold on for 5,10 -15 minutes.By doing this asana regularly your thyroid gland would be very healthy and as a result of this all other systems of your body be it respiratory, circulatory,urinary and other systems as well would function very well.I would say this is one of the best asana one should do regularly.A word of caution here is for those of you'll who have hypertension[B.P], It's better you take your Doctor's advice first, before you start with this.
