Yoga for Healthy Hormones

What does yoga have to do with your hormones? Plenty! In this class, we will explore using yoga to support women’s health, by choosing poses and practices that help to regulate and balance the endocrine system. The endocrine system is the system of hormone-producing glands that control many of our bodily functions, as well as impacting our moods.

In class, we will be doing a general hormone balancing practice, as well as learning yoga poses and practices to address common categories of hormonal imbalance, such as PMS, fertility issues and peri-menopausal and menopausal symptoms. We will also explore how yoga can help with hormonally-related issues such as poor immune function, thyroid imbalance, and adrenal depletion due to stress overload.
