1. Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose)
Bhujangasana is also known as the Cobra. Here, the focus is on opening the chest and balancing out
the shoulders and neck. Bhujangasana is a beneficial asana if you have a hunched back. It aims to
align the spine and works on the nervous system. You can start with Baby Cobra and slowly increase
to Full Cobra.
2. Tadasana (Standing Mountain Pose)
Tadasana or Standing Mountain Pose aims to elongate your spine and neck. Through stretching the
arms and upper body towards the ceiling, your posture can be improved extremely.

3. Majariasana (Cat Pose)
In the final position of Majariasana, your back should be curved like a cat’s back. Majariasana works
very well in combination with Bitilasana.

4. Bitilasana (Cow Pose)
Bitilasana or Cow Pose is the counter-pose of Majariasana. In combination, you should curve your
spine up and down. As you inhale, look up and push your buttocks up. Your spine should be in a U-
shape. As you exhale, try to reach your chin onto your chest and curve the spine up.

5. Ardh Matsyendrasana (Half-Fish Pose)
Ardha Matsyendrasana or Half-Fish Pose is a spinal twist that requires straightening the spine first.
Spinal twists not only improve digestion but also improve your posture by removing accumulated
stiffness in your back.
