September 11 - 20, 2009, Bad Meinberg Yoga Teachers Training Course Intensive F – Viveka Chudamani and Asanas intensive; Register (B090911-06) Instructor: Narayani, Sukadev Bretz You learn about Viveka Chudamani, literally "The Crest-Jewel of Discrimination" is a famous work by Adi Shankara that expounds Advaita Vedanta philosophy. Adi Shankara composed many sub-texts from the Upanishad, the Bhagavd Gita et al. in simple Sanskrit, called Prakarana Granthas, with the objective of reaching the message of the Vedas and Upanishads to lay persons. The Viveka Chudamani, as the name implies, is the crown jewel of such texts. Narayani, one of our most favoured and experienced yoga instructor combines the course with intensive and precise asana practice.
