I am very new to Yoga. I am having difficulty with bringing my feet back to betwwen my hands towards the end of the Sun Salutation. Is this Common? Will it improve with practice? Can you offer any suggestions that I can try? I want to have proper form as I understand that is very important.

  • Hey,

    don't take it so seriously... in a few weeks you will be able to bring your foot back between your hands... maybe your teacher has already adviced you to put a knee on the floor before bringing the other leg forward (if you are supposed to bring the right one, before it, place your left knee on the floor).

    If you don't want to do this, just keep on bringing your leg where it is possible now and gradually it will come closer to where you want to.

    BUT.... just relax and accept it. If you are new to Yoga, you will realize you improve very fast. Just let it go. Santocha - contentment... place your mind on your breath and let it go.
