I wondered if anyone could help please. I have started doing the 20 minute video for beginners on lower back. I feel I can't advance further as I have bicep tendonitis and a frozen shoulder. I am struggling with other yoga poses as they hurt my arm. I wondered if there was any I can do that would help me strengthen my arm and shoulder without giving me immense pain.

As you mentioned you arm pain cause due to video following. I think right way is very much important to get the benefits of yoga. I like to suggest a yoga pose to improve you arm fitness.
Downward Dog- Kneel on all fours with hands directly under shoulders. Tuck toe under and exhale, lift hip up to ceiling. Move shoulders up toward the ears. Drawing front ribs in, push into hands and feet.
