Dear Kamala Devi, thank you for your warm-hearted reply. Far too little I get to this site and was also busy in the last month, so it is me now answering a little late. You asked me, how I got to practise yoga - well in 1977 I suffered a strange disease and had a lot of problems with my health resulting from the medicines I received in curing it. A friend of mine whom I like a lot proposed to try yoga and so I did. I went to a weekend course with Swami Janakananda from Scandinavian School for Yoga and Meditation and my life took a big and very positive change. I came into contact with Yoga Nidra and the resolution during my first meditation set a seed of spirituality and positive view to life. But a yoga teacher I only decided to become after attending a one-month course at Yoga Vidya after all these years in which i did yoga, but not as regularly as during the last 3 years. I just had my third birthday (spiriutal name), which is on 4th of may. I wonder, how it must have been for you, growing up in an ashram and seeing all these people growing. Sukadev even saw you in Canada I read, when you were a child... You will know Narajani from that time, I guess. She is very lovely and teaching yoga in London and Spain and some time in Yoga Vidya now. And you love interior design - me too. Well, should you ever make it to Germany, remember you have a lovely place to go to on the country side in the north of Hamburg, near Lübeck (my place) and where you will be very wellcome!
