Piles can be cured through various yoga asanas. Piles and yoga simply means that yoga helps a great deal to treat piles. Before we go onto exactly how piles and yoga works, it is important to know just what Piles are. Piles are enlarged blood vessels which are present near the anal region. This disease can affect people of all ages. The veins present in the rectal area get inflamed and this results in a great deal of pain. There are two types of Piles – external and internal. Internal piles are those which are found inside the body, close tot the anal canal. External piles can be seen outside. There are several reasons why piles occur. These include:-
• Obesity
• Stress
• Lack of exercise
• Intake of a low fiber diet
• Constipation
• Eating too much oily and spicy food
• Pregnant women suffer from piles as the fetus gets heavier and puts weight on the abdomen. Increased blood flow during pregnancy is also the reason for this.
Yoga for Piles treatment can be done together. Some of the yoga asanas for piles are:-Shirsha Asana( Headstand), Chakrasana (Wheel Pose), Uttanasana (Standing Forward Bend pose), Sarvanga Asana(The Shoulder stand), Tada Asana (The Mountain Pose), Padahasta Asana(Hand to Foot Pose), Surya Namaskara (Sun Salutation), Pavanamukta Asana (The Wind Releasing Pose), and Pranayama (Breathing Control). Apart from piles and yoga practices, you can also relieve yourself from piles with the following home remedies:
Take 1 tbsp black cumin seeds (shah jeera), roast and mix with 1 tbsp of un roasted black cumin seeds and powder both together. Take 1/2 a tsp with a glass of water once a day.
Tip 2:
Radish juice taken in the morning and night. Start with 1/4 a cup and increase to 1/2 a cup gradually over a period of 1 month.
Tip 3:
Wash 3-4 figs. Soak in a glass of water over night. Eat them first thing in the morning. Again repeat in the night.
Tip 4: Boil 1 ripe banana in 1 cup of milk, mash well. Take 3-4 times a day.
Tip 5: Crush bitter gourd leaves and extract the juice. Mix 3 tsp in 1 glass of buttermilk, and drink on an empty stomach every morning, for a month.
