The plants of Shiva's Garden give way to powerful consciousness.The plants of Lord Shiva's Garden are medicine for the consciousness absorbed in Maya, for the Jiva that craves liberation from Samsara. Just as one takes an aspirin to defeat Time ruled by aches and pains, the medicinal plants of Shiva's Garden, which I call 'shivAushadhi' (Shiva + Aushadhi *Osadhi [thru sandhi] = sivAusadhi) may be utilized in Kali Yuga to grant liberation, after ritual use as prescribed by the Guru. Lord Shiva is Maha Yogi. Lord Shiva is Adi Yogi. He is the supreme and original yogi. The proclamation of Yogic teachings through the verses of the Siva Samhita, as shared by Mahesvara to Parvati is the source of my wisdom of Hatha Yoga. My source for the wisdom of Raaja yoga is Swami Vivekananda.

The teachings and commentaries of Sri Adi Shankara Acharya have greatly influenced my path to liberation. The Chandogya Upanishad, The Brahma Sutra Bhashya and the Taittiriya Upanishads are the greatest works that I am undertaking at the moment. The Wisdom which the Sanskrit Language expresses is the one passion and desire which I pursue is an aspect of the liberation granted through self knowledge. The 6 Branches of Knowledge, known as Vedanga, have guided me along this path. I have walked along this path alone, rejected by local "yogis" as they shunned me from their strip mall ashramas as my curious nature conflicted with their teachings. I humbly bow to this great community , Yoga-Vidya. I humbly bow to the great communities online . You are my Brothers and my sisters. You are the ones who have guided me, and taught me. I have no Temple, no Ashram, No Guru, No Fellowship other than that of my divine brothers and sisters online. Thank you all. Bless you all.
