However, they are also able to think outside the box. People around them, the food they eat, or the weather affects their mood a lot. Hence, in short, you can say that Vata dominant people are very moody.

 

Strong Points of Vata

Vata dominant people are creative beings and quick learners. Also, they are good at multi-tasking. Physically they are slim and quick on their feet.

 

Weaknesses

Very unstable and moody nature tends to hamper their overall growth. Moreover, Vata dominant doshas in Ayurveda are highly sensitive to cold.

 

Pitta

Fire and water elements are dominant in the Pitta dominant yoga doshas. Summer is the season in which Pitta dosha personalities blossom as it is a season of hot days. Pitta dominant personalities have strong physiques with more muscle mass on their bodies.

They also come out as good leaders. Pitta dominant people are highly competitive and goal-oriented. However, the tenacious nature could lead to conflict with others.

When hungry, Pitta personalities have severe mood swings. Also, they cannot tolerate hot weather and easily get impatient.

 

Kapha

Earth and water elements are dominant in Kapha doshas in Ayurveda. Hence, they are stable and heavy but cold and slow. Spring is the favorite season of people having dominant Kapha dosha. They have thicker bones and generally caring in nature.

Getting upset happens rarely in people with dominant Kapha yoga doshas. Thus, they even act as support because of their caring nature.

 

Strong Points of Kapha

People with Kapha dosha are calm and empathetic towards others. Hence, they turn out to be caring and romantic beings. Moreover, thicker bones and strong immunity are one of the strong points of people with Kapha yoga dosha.

 

Weaknesses

Slower metabolism leads to the accumulation of excessive fat on their bodies. This could also lead to various breathing issues and the need for more sleep. With emotional elements, they tend to get trapped in depression easily.

 

Exercises Recommended to Doshas in Ayurveda

Every yoga dosha needs a different approach to exercise. Let’s have a closer look at what should people with different doshas do.

 

Vata

Since they are already active, they can easily focus on intensive exercise routines. For instance, running, cycling, swimming, faster yoga forms like Vinyasa or Ashtanga can be easy play for them.

 

Pitta

Make sure, Pitta dominant people don’t exercise in excessive heat. Also, team sports could be a perfect choice for people having dominant Pitta yoga doshas.

 

Kapha
