My Yoga tradition/style/center, Yoga practice, Yoga Master/s, Teacher/s
I began in the 1970's following the PBS series with Lilias Folan. When I returned to practice 2 1/2 years ago I started with brief gentle online classes wherever I could find them. For the last year and a half I have been following Melissa West from Yoga with Melissa.
Why I want to join this Yoga Community my.yoga-vidya.org
I live in a small town where the only yoga classes available are through the YMCA. I found yoga-vidya two years ago when returning to practice after a lengthy absence. I was in pretty bad shape and couldn't have made it though the style of yoga classes available where I live. By using the videos I was able to find classes and teachers that made it possible for me to begin when I was at. I left yoga-vidya for awhile to follow an online teacher who also teaches the moral and ethical principles of yoga. Recently I returned, looking for a specific class. I not only found it I found that everything I am looking for is available right here. I had not joined the community before so decided to do it now.
