I'm only familiar with Bikram style yoga which I practice regularly, but all yoga is therapeutic & healing for the body.

I am glad I am not the only one to have had that experience and what I have read and heard about Bikram himself doesn't really lend me to wanting to financially support him. He really seems to go against what most other styles of yoga preach. I also found the atmosphere to be more competitive as well. I currently practice anusara style yoga emphasizing proper body alignment which has been great for me. What other styles have you tried? Do you know much about yin yoga?

Hello there tat. I noticed that you practiced Bikram. I have tried in the past, but thinking about trying it again. The problem I had before was I started developing back pain and the teacher said that I need to come more. Is that a typical philosophy in Bikram?
