this blog is written by” Aatmanum” who went through the wonderful experience

Not much time has passed, when I used to witness myself as a VICTIM!! Victim of situations, victim of betrayal, victim of emotional abuse, victim of lost identity! I was indeed a mess of broken dreams, negative thoughts, befuddled emotions and toppled actions, with nowhere to go.

Who was I?

So lost!! So unsure!!

Indifference and ignorance were all I wore!!

He made me meet myself

However, one fine d

SPIRITUAL NARCISSISM by “Aatmanum”

Okay!

Let me start with literal meanings of Narcissism and Spiritual.

Narcissism implies “having or showing an excessive interest in or admiration of oneself and one’s physical appearance.” And Spiritual stands for something “relating to or affecting the human spirit or soul as opposed to material or physical things.”

Simply putting, spiritual narcissism is flaunting to have an expertise in spiritual experiences, practices, tools and methods to achieve gratificatio

Yogasth bhava. I was so wrong…

I was so wrong by ” Aatmanum”

I was sinking in the deep, turbulent currents, looking desperately for a way out and you came bearing a torch. You showed me the direction to the calm waters, or so I thought…but I was so wrong.

You took me amidst the vast ocean and urged me to follow you as you were leading towards the deepest parts of this huge ocean (of knowledge). Without understanding which destination I wanted to reach, what I was looking for in the ocean, you keep adjusting my sa

QUEST FOR DEPTH
Quest For Depth by ” Aatmanum”

In the darkest of the pits, we all need something/someone to hold onto.

May be that is the quest for depth.

In the brightest of the galaxies, we all need something/someone closest to share our joy with. May be that is the quest for depth.

In the weakest of the sentiments, we all need something/someone to lean onto.

In the most blissful moments, we all, still need someone to sit besides.

May be that is the quest for depth.

In the chaotic flow of thoughts, we

The global CoViD-19 pandemic has created a sense of deep panic, uncertainty, grief, and despair which is hampering the physical, financial, social, mental, emotional, and spiritual well being of mankind all over the world.
Although it has definitely provided the nature and environment to revive and restore, it has also given humans an opportunity to look within themselves to refocus our vision and reset our goals. This can be achieved only when we are in alignment with our being and stable within

I was looking at the image of the mystic I was going to meet with disbelief! The same divine person I have seen in my dream the night before. I was at the ashram of Yogi Buddhadeva whom I had never met before but God has given me an indication that I had found a living embodiment of Shiva-consciousness.

The curtains made way for a persona as powerful as the sun but as gentle as the moon, clad in a simple kurta and jeans— The Urban Yogi, Yogi Buddhadeva. The introductions were brief

why is it so difficult for us all to accept the change life brings along?
Some paths I used to think I would never walk on

Some streams I used to think I would never flow down

Standing at this point,

Thinking through all the thoughts I used to think,

Laughing on my own naïve and tenacity,

Telling myself! Change is inevitable part of life.

The only thing that is constant in the course of nature is change.

Then why is it so difficult for us all to accept the change life brings along?
Our beliefs!! Our expe

At times in life , we are at the beginning of something new & the challenges start dropping in swiftly . A person has started learning walking with such difficulty and is forced by destiny to run .

My family business involved giving plants on rental and maintaining them at offices , shops and verandahs . Of course labor was involved & dealing with them meant lowering myself to survival consciousness a lot of times . In a certain way , this has been a means of God to return my consciousness to the

Reiki Master Healer Course with Yogi Buddhadeva

You would have heard from your parents that a  person can understand parenthood only when that person brings up a  child. This shows the importance of experience. Yogi  Buddhadeva has had very intense spiritual events in his childhood and was extremely mature for his age. Even today  I  have the perception that as the film terminator, he too is a  man of the future who has come back in time to save humanity from annihilation.

This is so because his p

You are carrying out your regular routine and your energy, enthusiasm, and productivity go through high and low depending on the day. It's a holiday and you become relaxed, excited, and dynamic.

We are a servant of our heart and allow thoughts, emotions and attachments to make us dance to their tunes. At the same time we want to become masters of our destiny.

Yoga And Meditation
Yogi Buddhadeva often talks about disciplining the mind. Yoga and Meditation is of course the best method of doing that. A

Abraham Lincoln was a regular citizen, born in poor conditions in Indiana, self-educated himself to become a lawyer who cared for the people. At an age in which people lose their youth, power, and sense of purpose—he became the President of the United States of America who preserved the Union, strengthened the federal system, led America through its greatest crisis, and modernized the economy.

So had he accepted his poverty as the reality of his life, would he have self-educated himself? Had he s

VASANA
It would be so wonderful if the flow of everything in life would be as per our vasanas . The word “vasana” is grossly misunderstood, it refers to our driving desires of any kind.

We generally have no control over our thoughts. A single thought has to first defeat the competing thoughts of that time, the established thoughts in the mind and the new thoughts inspired by the being after it — to linger on in the brain. After the first victory, this thought has to catch the fancy of the thinking

Healing

Healing Attunement is a three-day intense symbols based process that makes the sub-conscious mind fertile and plants the seeds which bring shubhta to our being, our life, and our endeavors.

The demands of the business, the weakness within me due to the change of perception within me, and the challenging circumstances made life very overwhelming.

Yogi Buddhadeva had once taught me that if due to testing circumstances we run away from certain challenges of life, those examinations being taken
