ARE you enlightened SPIRITUALLY

ARE you enlightened SPIRITUALLY

Dear Spiritual Seeker

NAMASTE,

It is as I felt that we have been exchanging spiritual divine knowledge to each other which is itself a nice way to share the knowledge no matter whether they are received from holistic books or self experiences. My thought in this regard is whichever way for self-realization that must work and its influences as divine knowledge should be seen in the practitioner if we talk about MEDITATION, ASANAS, and MANTRA SADHANA etc.

If the one is

LOVE is Synonyms of Meditation

The word Meditation and The word Love are synonyms, and may be getting into meditation there could be many ways and might be appropriate for ones own type on which they feel comfort or enjoy the happiness being in meditation.Hence, in my own opinion, what I experienced on my own way of sadhana is LOVE which is the most essential part to receive the true and pure state of meditation because without LOVE neither one can enter into the path of sadhana nor even think of getting divine powers through

Anger as a result of meditataion

OM

I had an interesting question today, so I thought I'd share the answer:

Ques: twice after meditation I found myself very angry and Itried to express it in a safe way but did bite my husband's head off. Any thoughts on the matter. (from Judy in New Zealand)

S.S. ans:
Yes, I do have very definite thoughts on the matter.Anger seems to be a VERY common reaction to meditation. People are usually confused by it, as you expect medtation to make you more peaceful and hence, less angry.

Relationships and Cooperation between Chakras

OM

I'm working on a chapter for my book that looks at how the chakras inter-relate and work with each other. Actually, the independent actions and particular characteristics of the various chakras can only be separated intellectually. The function of each chakra intricately blends with the workings of the others.

Tounderstanding the working of each chakra, it is important for you to see the bigger picture. In addition to taking in energy and acting as a transmitter for your thoughts and feelings,

Thinking about Ishwara-pranidhana

OM

Recently, I've been working with the principle of "ishwara-pranidhana". The last of Patanjali's niyamas is usually translated as "self-surrender" or "surrender to the Lord". This is a hard one for many modern yogis, many of whom don't seem to be inclined to surrender to anyone or any teaching.

You may feel that you do not relate to the concept of "God" — or that you do not really know who or what God is — or even whether God really exists. You may (understandably) be loath to commit to doing th

The Door Of The Law (part 5)

("The path to enlightenment" by rohit gowaikar)

"The Door Of The Law" is a suite in six parts inspired by "A Parable About A Parable" from RAWilson's "Quantum Psychology," itself inspired by Kafka's "Before The Law." (There is also a video version by jackhalfaprayer.)

After Simon tells his roshi the story of the man who waited at the door of the Law, he begs him to explain the dark parable. The teacher replies that he will explain it, if Simon follows him into the zendo. So the young American fol

New town - New perspective

It has been a while since my last message. I have relocated to a small artist town north of L.A. called Ojai, where my life has become peaceful, with orange trees, avocados, and doing my shopping at the local farmer's marked, bicycling everywhere, recording music, living healthy... and happy.
The buzz of L.A. is not far away, yet it feels like a world a part.
What I have discovered is: I sleep better, and why? I never slept very well, and always thought it was something wrong with me. I was told b

On Meditation

Meditation implies awareness; awareness of the earth, the beauty of the earth, the dead leaf, the dying daylight, to be aware of the beauty of the wind among the leaves, to be aware of your thoughts, your feelings. That means to be aware without choice—just to be aware… And when you are so aware, then there is attention. When you so profoundly attend, there is no centre as the ‘me’ to attend. And where there is attention there is silence… That silence has never been touched by thought. It is onl
