Ajna Chakra and Kundalini...

Only when Ajna chakra opens, forms of Lingam, Shiva and Vishnu cud be realised and its really understood why these r worshipped, not otherwise...
with it this is also clearly understood that Brahma has no existence in reality...
Brahma refer to the "self as whole forms of creation coming in fore"

Generally all books on kundalini have been written by those in whom Ajna has never opened...
people make fool of themselves by imagining different triangulation forms with attention at different chakras..

Guru...

Often human forms r projected as Guru...
its a grave mistake...Its an abuse of the meaning of Guru...

if one listen to any Guru stotram, one wud understand that Awareness, All pervasiveness, Shiva and Vishnu alone r the only Guru...
No where in any verse says human form as Guru...

Inspired by Yoga Vidya philosophy and teachings, I feel there is a need for taking Yoga to common busy people who need simple yoga activity to remain fit and active.
Where there is a will there is a way.
I have tried simple and easy yoga postures and methods including meditation and art of healthy breathing that can go a long way to satisfy the common persons.
I know it may not be possible to expect approval and acceptance by experts as they believe in traditional complex yoga activities that need

The Forgotten History of Manu Parampara

What is the basis of Hinduism? Is it based on Manu Parampara or Trimurty System? This was the question asked by Navajyotisri Karunakara Guru, whose life mission was to enlighten not only the Hindus but also the whole humanity about the existence of a spiritual governance that is God’s alone. The Puranic tradition or the Trimurty tradition mentions that Brahma, Vishnu and Siva are the authorities of creation. The Vaishnavites claim that Vishnu is the Creator; the Saivites say it is Siva while the

Upäsāna vs Vicharāna Marga

We generally hear much about Upäsāna i.e. the marga or path of worship and Vicharāna i.e. the path of enquiry. Many people have asked me about this, so I shall try to bring some clarity to it. Upäsāna is taken from the root word Upa meaning to be near and Asana to sit. Thus, it means to sit near. Upanishad were drawn from Upa meaning to be near and Nishad meaning to hear. In the ancient times and in some places till date, you can find Guru-Shishya parampara being followed and you can see discipl

Life force energy, also known as chi or prana, is found in everything. This subtle and pervasive energy is said to be the vital building block of all matter and creation, both physical and non-physical. This energy flows in, through, and around the body, forming vibrant and cohesive living systems in endless forms. Many traditions believe that a steady supply of chi is necessary to sustain all living beings. By understanding the rhythm, flow, and the qualities of life force energy, a wide variet

Tension: Physical and Emotional..

The best way to relax the body is to tense it first, and thereby to equalize the flow of tension all over the body. Then, with relaxation, you will find tensions being released that you didn’t even know existed........
Inhale, tense the whole body, then throw the breath out and relax. Doing this three to six times will help rid the body of unconscious tensions. Now, consciously relax the various body parts, starting with your feet and working your way gradually to the head and brain. It may help

YOUR NATURE IS CONSCIOUSNESS..

The true master creates discontent in you ... and such a discontent that nothing of this world can ever satisfy it. He creates such a longing in you, that unless you attain to the ultimate you will remain aflame, afire. He creates pain in your heart, he creates anguish ... because life is slipping by every moment, and each moment gone is gone forever, and you have not attained to God yet, and one day is over.

He creates such a deep longing in you, such pain in the heart! He creates tears in your

Kundalini Rising,......: The Root Chakra

Kundalini Rising, Part 1: The Root Chakra
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” ~ Carl Jung
Imagine your spine is a tree trunk with seven ascending flowers (chakras) growing out of it. These flowers are either opened or closed depending upon your health, mental disposition, and ability to communicate with the cosmos. These flowers emit a distinct energy unique to your personal frequency, but they are profoundly interconnected, both with e

The moment of the death of someone you have loved deeply brings your own death into your mind. The moment of death is a great revelation. It makes you feel impotent and helpless. It makes you feel that you are not. The illusion of being disappears.

Anybody will be shaken because suddenly you see that the ground underneath your feet has disappeared. You cannot do anything. Somebody is dying that you love: you would even like to give your life but you cannot. Nothing can be done; one simply waits i

My first adventures in yoga

I first discovered yoga in Peru when I was on a retreat. I had a peak experience of body bliss after one particular yoga session. It was a very intense experience for me and it was to awaken a new passion for yoga that I did not know I had before.

Since returning to my country (UK), I have been regularly practicing Kundalini yoga in a local class and practicing the beginners class (complete and mens beginner class) each day or so. I am always very happy to be doing yoga, thinking about doing yoga

The six Chakras

There are Six Chakras or lotuses in the body. They are Muladhara (near the anus), Svadhisthana (midway between Muladhara and Manipura which is in the navel). Anahata Chakra in the heart, Vishuddha in the neck and Ajna in the space between the two eyebrows and Sahasrara or the thousand-petalled lotus (Chakra) in the crown of the head.

Samadhi A Heightened State of Awareness

While you are contemplating the brainwaves (EEG waves) gets slowed down. Normally brainwaves frequency, while we are fully awake to situations, remains in the range of 14 - 23 cycles/sec, which is known as Beta brain waves. But while contemplating upon some thing (focusing upon) this Beta brainwaves pattern gradually calms down to Alpha (9 - 13 cycles/sec) and on your deeper contemplation, from Alpha to Theta (5 - 8 cycles/sec) brain waves pattern further slowed down. But one need not to slip d
